Lebanon Rocket Hits Nahariya House, Injures Israeli Woman
Authorities detected incoming fire aimed at the city, with eight rockets reportedly launched.
Most were intercepted by air defenses, but one managed to strike a house, causing significant damage.
The Israeli military confirmed that warning sirens were activated across multiple northern communities, including Nahariya, in response to the attack.
Reports indicated that the woman suffered minor injuries, while footage from the scene showed heavy destruction to the affected home.
Since early morning, sirens have been heard across numerous towns near the Lebanese border, signaling ongoing rocket and drone activity originating from Lebanon.
According to official figures cited in reports, at least 7,693 people have been wounded since the beginning of the US-Israel war on Iran on Feb. 28. Although no official death toll has been released, available data and media estimates suggest that 33 people have died.
Meanwhile, Israel has intensified its military operations in southern Lebanon following a cross-border assault by Hezbollah on March 2, despite a ceasefire that had been in place since November 2024.
The escalation unfolds as officials from Beirut and Tel Aviv are set to meet in Washington on April 14 for their first round of talks, aimed at achieving a ceasefire and initiating direct negotiations.
